    WTB Wanted: stock exhaust

I upgraded a few weeks ago, asking my buddy if my leftover parts are still in their junk pile or if they've been hauled off to the scrapper yet. Good news: replacing the exhaust is extremely easy. The factory uses reusable metal gaskets with two bolt flanges and just a few rubber hangers...

    Puddle lights installed

I like it. They come on with the interior lights - not the mirror/handle lights - but it's a nice effect.

New Stinger GT2 - Bad Battery Will Not Hold Charge

FWIW, I saw some strange things when I connected the charger to the fuse panel under the hood. Voltage held at 12V regardless of amperage, didn't seem to be taking a charge. Connecting straight to the battery in the trunk worked normally. I'm sure the fuse panel connection is fine for jump...

    Auger Style exhaust silencer inserts

My buddy uses those from time to time on his sidepipes, depending on the current build. They do cut sound, but will hurt HP a bit.

    Catch Can Thread

Totally normal. Condensation will get trapped in the can with the oil and make it soupy. The rate just depends on your driving habits, climate, etc.

    Questions on balloon financing

That's how I got my GT2 here in TX. The taxes on leases in TX make the lease cash buyout approach very unfavorable. KMF's terms are good. Yes, the interest rate is high (6.25% - 7%) but that doesn't matter if you're moving the debt elsewhere. No early termination fees - it's managed just like a...

Engine bay trim panel clip part number

Heh, ever ordered from an internet dealer before? They give a decent cut off the ridiculous "list" price, but they make it up in shipping! $1/ea is the typical price I saw - shipped. Some are bags of 15 for $10, some are bags of 10 for $10, some are bags of 5 for $20. Just depends. No idea on...

Engine bay trim panel clip part number

I ordered a batch of 86595-2T500 and 14206-08250-B. Both batches are identical, and they are the clips used under the hood and for the belly pans. Readily available on ebay and amazon, just search for those part numbers. Usually about $1 ea. So now I have a lifetime (hopefully!) supply....

FS FS FREE: Wheel lock kit (19" wheels)

SOLD! Amazing how fast free stuff goes. Any bets on how long the Kia wheel caps float around my garage?

FS FS FREE: Wheel lock kit (19" wheels)

FREE! Just pay shipping! I think wheel locks are a tool of the devil, so take mine. These are the 12mmx1.5 locks from 19" wheels, no idea what else they might fit. If you just want the parts I can put them in a small flat rate box for $8. If you want the fancy packaging (it's not that fancy)...

Engine bay trim panel clip part number

Heh, I think we need to keep this going. Nah, here's a picture. According to the parts guides, the splash shield clip is 84219-G3000, or maybe 14206-08250B? Can't find any pictures of the former, the latter looks like awfully close. Even having been under the car several times and pulling the...

FS FS: Stock KIA 19" wheel caps

Just in case there's any interest. Set of 4 stock KIA 19" wheel covers, $30 shipped CONUS.

    Check your valve stems

Just FYI.... I had to replace the valve stems in both front wheels (GT2, 19" wheels). They were installed incorrectly - or used the wrong stems - so they had a slow leak around the base. Took me a while to figure out the first one. I have little patience with dealers so I just had the corner...

Engine bay trim panel clip part number

Similar, but the center pushes in instead of threads in.

Engine bay trim panel clip part number

Anyone know the part number for those trim clips they use everywhere under the hood? Also on the front splash shield. The ones with the center that you pry out? I've already lost one..... As usual, the online part catalogs aren't terribly helpful, hoping there's an aftermarket pack already...
