How much horsepower will make you happy with the Kia Stinger?

I'm like the majority of these guys, 400 to 435 at the rear wheels. That's plenty for a daily driver.

    Oil change and tire rotation

If I go by the service guide it will take me between 12 & 18 months to get my first oil change being that I only put around 3 to 5 thousand miles a year on my car. Being here in Arizona I split my oil changes up in thirds, so every 4 months I change it. I don't care if it needs it or not. Here...

    Kia Stinger Oil Thread

I got this off another thread, this poor guy took his car in to have the oil changed and the dealer charged him 17.78 a quart. I'm sorry but no oil from the dealer is worth that much, even if it is full synthetic oil. For the amount they charged him for that oil, why don't you just buy some...

    Oil change and tire rotation

The secretary felt bad an gave you two car washes. If you went to the dealer the car wash is free. When I had my optima sx, I use to take it too the dealer for a wash every other week and it was washed for free. For the amount they charged you for that oil "$17.78, why don't you just buy some...

Do we really need a Sub-Frame Collar Kit?

No it wont change comfort like vibration etc. this is a quote: Aluminum subframe bushings will eliminate slop and movement from the factory subframe, while maintaining suspension geometry for improved handling, tire wear and steering response.

Do we really need a Sub-Frame Collar Kit?

I was going to pick up a set of these from Shark Racing but I was told by another vendor to hold off for about 3 weeks or so because of a New Subframe Bushing kit with Bolts that's coming out. When I pick it up I will let you all know how the install goes. I should be one of the first people to...

Do we really need a Sub-Frame Collar Kit?

This is one mod I think everybody should do to their car. I installed a subframe bushing kit in my 2015 Kia Optima SX, it makes a differences on how the car drives and handles. The collars a line your subframes, front an rear & make your car straight an true, so if you like to corner your car...

    Catch Can Thread

Grab it with your hand twist it & pull, what ever you do don't use a screw driver between the hose an nipple, you will break the nipple on the manifold, then you have to buy a new manifold. I wouldn't want to find out how much one of those pieces cost. If your trying to take it of when the car...

    Catch Can Thread

If I were you I would check it on the first oil change an if theirs nothing in it then every second oil change. People that are catching a lot of oil an blow by have a heavy foot all the time or they're running a chip tune with more boost, that's why they have a lot of blow by. I had a catch can...

    Catch Can Thread

I'm glad everything installed ok for you, periodically check the nut for the mounting bar & the two screws that hold the catch can to the mounting bar to make sure the y are still tight. If you drive on ruff roads a lot, sometimes those nuts and screws can come loose.

    Catch Can Thread

Be careful on the intake manifold, if you tighten it to much you can break the nipple off, its plastic. Listen close for that hiss noise & move the hoses around a little bit to be sure, around the intake manifold & the crank case nipple. Just asking, did you used Teflon tape on the nipples for...

My 2019 GT1 came with remote start and the salesman an the electronic guru that showed me how to work some of the functions on the dash an of course the electronic guru didn't know you could use the main fob to start the car. About two weeks later the service manager told me about it. So if your...
