G70 and G80 are two totally different car types for two different car buyers. If you want or need back seat room then yea the G80 is the choice. It's also noticably larger, longer and not nearly as sporty although there is a "sport" version. The interiors are very different, not in bad way at all but different. Trying to compare value between the G70 and G80 makes no sense IMO.
