I unscrewed mine about a half turn and it helped, but still happens at times. There's not a lot of thread left back there. I'm going to unscrew it another half, though. I also wonder if a real fix is with the stops that are in the side "rails". They're usually a harder material than the rubber...

I have a cup-holder mount enroute. I've tried vent-mounts and sticky mounts on other cars and have been unimpressed to entirely disappointed. I'm sure this won't be my last attempt at a mount, either. LOL

I'm not regretting that this region's Stingers came with 18" All Seasons. What I do about summer wheels and tires remains to be seen, however...

Yes, with today's charging technology, it'll be a shame if the dedicated charging ports aren't at least the 2x variety. I've not paid attention so far, though.
