    LAP3 USA Kia Stinger Tuning

RON 95 = US 91 and RON 98 = US 94 Should be safe with the 93 setting using RON 98.

    fuel

Only way to validate it is with dyno runs. Maybe one of the tuners can add E30 to the mix just to see if there is net gain.

    Remote Start!

Yep, My F150 does the same. Depending on the setup selected it will turn on the heat, heated seats and the rear defroster if the temps is below 45F. In hot weather the AC turns on. Nice feature to have.

    fuel

I was wondering the same. Ford does take advantage of higher octanes with increasing timing above the premium fuel. Testing has shown a gain of around 40HP/50TQ with the 3.5L Ecoboost using E30 (95 octane) compared to 87 octane. With pump premium it's 20-25HP gain over 87 octane.

When will you perform the first oil change?

I dump the OEM oil/filter at 1k miles mainly to remove the break in contaminates/particles that the filter doesn't catch. Also not knowing if the OEM fill is dino, blend or full synthetic I'll have peace of mind of going synthetic.

Lower top speed with all season tires???

Yep. Kia (or any other manufacturer) cannot sell a vehicle with the max speed higher than OEM tire's rating. Heck, my Magnum R/T is governed to 126 mph due the H rated tires that came on it from the factory. In Europe that car can punch a 170 mph hole in the air.

    fuel

10:1 compression ratio is becoming the norm due to the push for greater efficiency and reduced emissions. Some normally aspirated engines are even higher like Mazda's SkyActiv engines. With today's advance engine management systems with direct injection has made it possibly while running on...

    Kia Stinger Oil Thread

I bought a Performance Tool 27mm six point socket off of ebay for my Ecoboost oil filter cap. Works great.

    fuel

No. These engines are tuned for maximum output using premium (recommended for high compression and force induction). But the ECM calibration will tolerate regular by pulling timing when the knock sensors detect detonation. Pulling timing reduces the engine power and efficiency. Example my Ford...

Turtle Wax ICE and Griot's Garage spray wax. For washing I use the Optimum No Rinse Car Wash with wax.

    Spark Plugs

Wow. Guess I'm used to Iridiums on my Ecoboost gap range of 0.028 - 0.031.

    Spark Plugs

That's a pretty big gap at 0.036 for forced induction.

    octane boost

I wouldn't recommend octane boosters for daily drivers. From my understand it's not sparkplug friendly. Stick with 91 octane. If you're adventurous you can try splash blending 91 octane with E85 to bump up to 93 octane. Use it at you're own risk though..... Here's a calculator for determining...

    fuel

Both Techron and Gumout Regane contains PEA (Polyether Amine). I wouldn't worry about the hoses/seals on late model vehicles. Seals today using synthetic materials (example Viton) which can withstand corrosive liquids like Ethanol. I've been using Techron for 30 years without any issues.

    fuel

Yep. For these newer generation high compression turbocharged engines premium is recommended. The engine will tolerate regular by pulling timing which has an effect on performance and overall drive ability. With my Ford F150 Ecoboost I can tell a difference between regular and premium. And...

As a side note if top tier isn't available locally I would recommend adding a bottle of Chevron Techron or Gumout Regane to the tank every 3k miles or so.

Kia Stinger Hatch/Trunk Rattle TSB With New Parts

Could try a dab of silicone grease on the bumpers. The lubrication may solve the creaking issue.
