Personally if you flip cars every couple of years and keep low mileage maybe leasing is right for you. Otherwise pay cash or finance and pay it off quickly as possible.

Who here is planning to install wider tires on the stock wheels? My wife has a habit of curbing the wheels so if she gets the Premium I plan on switching to 235/45-18 tires for rim protection. Or maybe 245/40-18's?

Showed my wife the Arteon and she was like 'meh'. She says the Stinger is much better looking in the front end.

Even better for weight distribution and longer life by not being subjected to high under the hood temperatures. Wonder if the battery is a AGM?

Probably because Kia is using the oil as secondary cooling system similar to diesels. Water cooling may not be enough for severe duty like track work.

Doesn't the upcoming VW Arteon share the same platform as the Audi A5 Sportback? A5 Premium is around $55k. Big price difference comparing the Stinger 2.0 Premium at $38k.

I hate electronic rear hatches...LOL My wife's Magnum RT battery is located in the rear like the Stinger. When the battery died I used a jump box connecting the power terminals under the hood to open the rear tailgate. Unlike the Stinger the Magnum doesn't have a emergency release.

Interesting Kia spec'd a ACEA-C2 oil for the 2.0L. That oil is designed for DPF's (diesels) due to it's low ash content. I bet the Kia dealers here in the US will dump non C2 spec synthetic into the sump.

Main reason for the cable is to keep the phone charged. Between the GPS and streaming audio it will drain the battery very quickly without external power.

Typically ceramic tint should not interfere with reception, keyless entry, GPS or AM/FM frequencies. Metallized tint can interfere with the reception though.

Window tint and clear bra. Both are a must in Texas.

I recommend hard piping too and only use re-enforced silicone hoses for the couplers. Nothing like having a hose blow off at 40+ psi. Will scare the crap out of you. LOL

With today's high compression, direct injection, forced induction engines I would stay with premium. My F150 with the Ecoboost runs so much better with 93 vs. 87. It will run on 87 but there's a noticeable difference in performance, fuel economy and in smoothness, especially at idle.

I vote for the 2.0L. My wife has enough damn speeding tickets and burns through tires like crazy with her Magnum RT. LOL

Curious on the interior picture and the T handle shifter. I thought the GT's had a different style shifter from the base and premium models?

Been running either Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum for years but recently switched to Quaker State Ultimate Durability. It's getting very positive reviews and plus it's cheaper than M1 and PP+.
